The Story About This Morning Track...

This song was an improvised recording done on a beautiful morning after a night of camping by a lake in the Rocky Mountains. I was feeling good; better than I had in a long time… It all just kind of flowed out, one take per track. Only a few minutes later, the park ranger came by and told us of the shooting in the Aurora theatre that had happened during the night only a few miles away. And suddenly, it was all very strange… I’ll never forget the contrast of opposite feelings… so, understandably, this song brings a lot to mind for me…
